THE NeSMITH PERFORMANCE PARTS STREET STOCK DIVISION SEASON OPENS THIS SATURDAY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The newest racing Division of Crate Racin’ USA, the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division, opens its 2013 National Points Season with two races on the scheduled for this Saturday night at Moulton Speedway in Moulton, AL and St. Tammany Raceway in Lacombe, LA.

Street Stock drivers at Moulton Speedway and St. Tammany Raceway will compete against each other for a National Point Fund under the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division banner through a points system. Drivers will count their best 14 weekly point totals in a 27-week season that runs through September 29.

The 2013 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division National Champion will earn $2,000 out of the point fund that will also pay back through the Top 10 drivers in the National point standings at the end of the season. In addition to the National Point Fund, NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock drivers will also be racing for a point fund at their weekly sanctioned track.

Joining Moulton Speedway and St. Tammany Raceway as NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division sanctioned tracks for the 2013 season are Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, and Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS. Competitors in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division have the option to run the economical steel-head Chevrolet Performance 602 Crate Engine that is built and sealed at the factory to prevent any expensive modifications.
