NeSMITH CHEVROLET CRATE ENGINES ON SALE THROUGH MARCH 31

CARTERSVILLE, GA – NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Claxton, GA is having a Pre-Season Sale on Chevrolet Performance Crate Engines through March 31, or until supplies last. The Chevrolet Performance 604 and 602 Crate Engines are used in the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division and the NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man’s Garage Weekly Racing Series.

The Chevrolet Performance all-aluminum CT 525 Engine and the Chevrolet Performance 604 and 602 Crate Engines will be used in the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series that begins in August. The Chevrolet Performance 602 Crate Engine will also be used in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division in 2013.

Engines in stock and on sale at NeSmith Chevrolet in Claxton, GA are the aluminum-head Chevrolet Performance 604 Crate Engine for $4,995.00, the steel-head Chevrolet Performance 602 Crate Engine for $3,095.00, and the all-aluminum Chevrolet Performance CT 525 Engine for $6,995.00. The NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man’s Garage Weekly Racing Series begins its seventh season, and the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division begins its first season on March 25 and both series run through September 29. During the 27-week season, drivers at each NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man’s Garage Weekly Racing Series Track will compete with each other for National points, taking their best 14 weekly point totals.

The 2013 NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man’s Garage Weekly Racing Series National Champion will receive $10,000 and the Top 10 drivers in the final point standings will receive point fund awards. There are 14 tracks that are participating in the 2013 NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man’s Garage Weekly Racing Series.

The 2013 NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man’s Garage Weekly Racing Series tracks are Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, AR, Battleground Speedway in Highland, TX, Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL, Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, TN, East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL, Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS, Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg, MS, Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, Penton Raceway in Penton, AL, St. Tammany Speedway in Hickory, LA, Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL, West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, MO, and Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS.

To date, Magnolia Motor Speedway, Jackson Motor Speedway, Whynot Motorsports Park, and St. Tammany Speedway will participate in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division. The NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division points fund will be announced in the coming days and will also pay back to the Top 10 drivers in the point standings.

The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will be a ten-race series for 2013 and will pay $10,000 to the series champion, and the point fund will also pay back to the top ten drivers in the final point standings. The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will begin on August 2 and run through October 12.

Competitors are encouraged to complete their annual Membership Registration for their respective racing divisions before the season begins to prevent any early season delays. The Membership Registration forms are available online at www.nesmithracing.com.

Competitors should completely fill out the applicable form or forms and mail it with a $100 check or money order for Crate Late Model competitors, a $75 check or money order for Super Late Model Competitors, or a $50 check or money order for Street Stock competitors payable to Crate Racin’ USA to P.O. Box 1346, Cartersville, GA 30120.

The next event for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division will be Round 6 on April 12-13 at Greenville Speedway with the $5,000-to-win 3rd Annual Rumble On The Gumbo 75.
