NeSMITH CHEVROLET DLMS MAKES ADDITION AND ADJUSTMENTS TO 2012 SCHEDULE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series has made an addition and four event adjustments to the 2012 Touring Schedule. A 40-lap $2,000-to-win race on June 1 at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, GA has been added to the schedule, and the last four events have had date changes.

The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will make its first ever appearance at Boyd’s Speedway on Friday night, June 1 in conjunction with a 50-lap $2,500-to-win race at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN on Saturday night, June 2.

Greenville Speedway has moved its two fall events to earlier in the season. The pair of events that were originally scheduled for October 4 and 5 have been moved to July 20 and 21. The July 20 race will be 40-laps $2,000-to-win, and the July 21 race will be 50-laps and $2,500-to-win at Greenville Speedway.

The 6th Annual Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway that was originally scheduled for November 2-3 has been moved to September 28-29. The 6th Annual Gumbo Nationals will be a 60-lap race paying $5,000-to-win for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Tour.

The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Tour 2012 season finale, the $10,000-to-win 100-lap 8th Annual GM Performance Parts World Championship Race at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL has been moved to November 29-December 1 to coincide with the PRI Show in Orlando, FL.

The 2012 NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Tour will open at East Bay Raceway Park with three shows on February 2, 3, and 4. The races on February 2 and 3 will each be 40-lap events paying $2,000-to-win. The February 4 race at East Bay Raceway Park will be 50 laps and pay $3,000-to-win.
