O’Reilly NCRA Sprints Set to Invade The Great American Dirt Track on Saturday

Tulsa, Oklahoma (August 24, 2010) - The O’Reilly NCRA Sprint Series will Invade the Great American Dirt Track in Jetmore, Kansas on Saturday and it promises to be a competitive event from start to finish. Rookie Jeremy Campbell is entering the home stretch on what could be his first NCRA title but defending champion Garry Lee Maier moved into second after a runner-up finish last weekend at Mid-Nebraska and is in position to make a run at a record sixth title. With 64 career victories Maier cannot be counted out.

Last week Chad Humston added his name to the list of drivers who have won this season becoming the seventh different winner in eight events. The only repeat winner is Danny Jennings who swept both nights of the Hutchinson Nationals at the Kansas State Fairgrounds. Since Oklahoman Sherman Davis won the season opener at 81 Speedway in April Jason Johnson, Maier, Jason Martin, J.D. Johnson and picked up wins prior to Humston’s victory last week.

O'Reilly NCRA Southern Modified Series Stops at Elk City, Amarillo This Weekend

Tulsa, Oklahoma (August 24, 2010) – O’Reilly NCRA Southern Modified Series points leader Dustin Buntin will have his hands full this weekend with two point races on tap. Friday night the modifieds return to I-40 Speedway in Elk City where Buntin will put his 45 point lead on the line.

The Southern Modifieds last visited Elk City on March 13 for the season opener and Buntin finished fourth in the main event which was won by Todd Decker. Since then Decker has two wins on the season, his second coming at Enid Speedway, and sits in third just 25 points behind second place Kevin Snow and 70 behind Buntin. With 300 points available on any given night the points lead is definitely up for grabs.

The battle for points has been very balanced through the first five events as just 350 points separate tenth from first and Decker is the only top ten driver to have won a feature race.

Following Friday night’s battle the series moves south to Amarillo and Route 66 Motor Speedway on Saturday night.
