Darin Busch Announces Plans for NCRA LM Rookie Honors!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – May 2, 2013 - With the 30th season for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products late model division set to open their 2013 campaign later this month, veteran Darin Busch of Enid, Oklahoma has announced his intentions on competing full-time on the tour and run for G&G Dozier rookie of the year honors.

“I raced late models several times back in 2010 and really enjoyed it,” said Busch on his decision to run late models full-time this season. “I had a great time racing them but just didn’t have the resources to do it the way I needed to. I feel I am now in a position that will allow me to do it the right way and I am looking forward to it.”

Busch is no stranger to dirt tracks and in his fourteen years of racing has competed in just about all divisions there are to compete. Other than the brief stint in late models has also raced factory stocks, street stocks, sport mods and modifieds. Just last year he picked up his first championship; the street stock championship at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas. This will be his first time competing full-time with the series in any division and will utilize a 2009 Lazer chassis.

Busch and fellow G&G Dozier rookie of the year contender Chance Bishop of Bartlesville, Oklahoma will join the rest of the tour regulars at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool, Nebraska when the season opens on Saturday night, May 25th.

While this will be his first time out on the road full-time competing at different tracks across Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri, Busch already has his goals on what he expects out of himself during his rookie season. “I think if I can finish top ten in the final point standings and win rookie of the year honors then I would achieve my goals for this year.”

Since 1971 the NCRA has sanctioned dirt track races across the Great Plains with the series currently sanctioning five other divisions. They include modifieds, southern sport modifieds, 360 cu.in.sprint cars, 305 cu. In. sprint cars, new mod-lite and late models.
