FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Long Lewis Ford Bama Super Series Finale This Saturday at NAS Tuscumbia, Alabama (11/17/09) – The Long Lewis Ford Bama Super Series (B.S.S.) for Super Late Models will wrap up its inaugural season this Saturday, November 21st at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama. The finale was originally slated for October 10th, but fell victim to Mother Nature. This Saturday, November 21st the BSS Super Late Model pilots will be battling in a $2,500 to win and $400 to start, 50 lap event at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama. The event will be the final race of the 2009 Long Lewis Ford Bama Super Series and the final event of 2009 for North Alabama Speedway. A special early start time will be in effect for the event. Hot laps will get underway at 5:30pm with racing action at 6:00pm. Joining the Long Lewis Ford BSS Super Late Models on the card will be the Crate Late Model/Late Model Stocks ($600 To Win), Open Wheel Modifieds ($600 To Win), Modified Street ($300 To Win), and Mini Stocks ($300 To Win). Super Late Model events in the books, six different drivers have found their way into victory lane with Jay Brinkley (Ross, TN), Chris Wall (Holden, Louisiana), Wendell Wallace (Batesville, Arkansas) and Tony Knowles (Tyrone, GA) each claiming a win, while Chris Ragan (Ramer, TN) has won three events and Anthony Burroughs (Muscle Shoals, AL), has won two events. Chris Ragan continues to sit atop the Long Lewis Ford Bama Super Series standings, but Anthony Burroughs remains within striking distance heading into the final event, just 60 points out of the lead. Brandon King, Jay Brinkley, Daniel Miller, Ben Kittrell, Mark Fields, Jamie Flannigan, Billy Moyer Jr., and Mark Dodson round out the top ten in the current point standings. Seventy-six different drivers, representing seven different states, have attempted to qualify for a Long Lewis Ford Bama Super Series feature through the first nine events.
