The Return of the “War Between the States”
The MS State Championship Challenge Series will travel to Talladega Short Track on June 25th for “The Return of the War Between the States”. The last “War Between the States” was held 10 years ago with the checkered flag taken by Randall Walker.
This will be a 50-Lap $3,000 to win event with a $100 Entry Fee. Drivers not transferring from the B-Mains will receive $50 for non-qualifiers pay. The event format will be a crowd pleaser as drivers and fans will see action starting off with the “Country Pleasin” Pole Qualifying, the Cliburn Tank Lines B-Mains and the 50-lap main event for the 22-car starting field.

Talladega Short Track is a 1/3-mile banked clay oval located on Talladega Superspeedway Boulevard. Take exit 168, off I-20 and proceed south on Hwy 77, then turn left onto Speedway Boulevard. TST is located 1 mile east of the Superspeedway. Coolers and lawn chairs are welcome.
