The MS State Championship Challenge Series will open its 2016 season at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS on March 26th and will be a part of the “Battle of the States”.   An open practice will be held on Friday from 6-10pm for all divisions.  This will be a $2500 to win event with a $100 Entry Fee and B-Main non-qualifiers will receive $50.

The drivers’ meeting is set for 3:00 on Saturday afternoon with hot laps, qualifying, heats and B-mains to follow plus the main events for the night.

The format for the MSCCS Super Late Models will be the “Country Pleasin” qualifying to determine the top 8 starting positions for the main event.  Positions 9 thru 20 will be filled from the Cliburn Tank Lines B-Mains while positions 21 and 22 will be determined from the 2015 top 15 in points.

Forms will be on hand for drivers that are interested in participating in the Hoosier Tire South Rookie of the Year Program.  The top Hoosier Tire South Rookie will receive $1,500 for 2106 providing they have met all requirements for the program.  These forms must be turned in by the 3rd event of the 2016 season.

The Shocks and Suspension rules have been updated and posted on the state series website and maybe viewed at www.stateseries.com.  Please keep in mind that adjustments and changes to these rules can be made at any time as this is just a guideline for the 2016 season.
