Batesville, Arkansas (10/10/16) – On Friday night Billy Moyer Jr. picked up the ninth win of the season in his Crop Production Services #21jr Billy Moyer Victory Race Car/ Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model. His latest triumph came with a $3,000 payday at Ponderosa Speedway.

Behind the wheel of the Crop Production Services #21JR Super Late Model, Billy Moyer Jr. made the trip to Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky) on Friday for the unsanctioned OctoberFest. In a field 15 cars, Moyer Jr. secured his spot into the A-Main with a heat race victory. Jumping into the lead on the opening lap, Billy kept the field at bay for the duration of the 35-lap finale to capture his ninth win of the season. Michael Chilton, Greg Johnson, Jason Jameson, and Cody Mahoney completed the Top 5. Moyer Jr. was awarded a $3,000 payday for his victory in the main event.

On Saturday night Billy stopped at Richmond Raceway (Richmond, Kentucky) to compete in the annual Paul “Butterball” Woolridge Memorial. With 31 Super Late Models registered for the $10,059-to-win A-Main, Moyer Jr started the night with a heat race win, earning him the 2nd-starting position for the feature alongside Tyler Carpenter. Hanging on to his starting spot for 59-laps, Billy Moyer Jr. landed a runner-up finish behind Tyler Carpenter with Tanner English, Justin Rattliff, and Cody Mahoney rounding out the Top 5.

“We had an exceptional car on Friday night at Ponderosa, but on Saturday night at Richmond I gave up some ground in qualifying and that put us a little behind the eight ball for the rest of the night,” said Moyer Jr. “Overall it was a great weekend for our team though, and it’s always a lot of fun to come to eastern Kentucky and race in front of us so many great fans.”

Tony Jackson Jr. Claims Fourth-Straight MARS DIRTcar Title

Lebanon, Missouri (08/17/16) – For the fourth-straight year, Tony Jackson Jr. is the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) DIRTcar champion in his Odell Trucking LLC #56 Smith Creek Moonshine/ Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model.

“It means a lot to win this fourth championship,” commented Jackson. “This year has been especially challenging because we’ve been working on developing some new stuff. It’s a definite work in progress, but I’m proud on what we accomplished this year and I’m really excited about the thought of what we can accomplish next year.”

Tony scored three wins on the tour in 2016 along with 10 Top-5 finishes.

A cool, fall weekend found Tony Jackson Jr. entering a trio of events in his home state.

Competing in the opening round of the two-day, Lucas Oil Fall Nationals, Tony Jackson Jr. traveled to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Friday for the event, which was sanctioned by both the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) and the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS). In a field of 53 cars, Jackson Jr. secured his spot into the A-Main with a 3rd-place finish in his heat. With $3,000 on the line, Tony landed a 9th-place outing in the opening night 40-lap feature.

Returning on Saturday to do battle against a field of 63 entries in the $5,000-to-win show, Tony fell just short of locking into the feature via his heat race with a 3rd-place outing. Sending the Top 2 from the B-Main into the feature, Jackson Jr. stormed to a consolation win, locking his spot into the main event. Coming one position short of a Top 10 spot, Tony logged an 11th place finish in the finale.

Closing out the MARS DIRTcar Series season, Tony Jackson Jr. stopped at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) on Sunday for the Showdown on Route 66. Battling for a $6,600 payday in the A-Main, Jackson Jr. was an early retiree from the main event. Securing his fourth straight title, Tony Jackson Jr. was crowned the MARS DIRTcar Series point's crown.

Indiana, Pennsylvania (10/10/16) – Gregg Satterlee drove his Satterlee Petroleum Distributors #22 Rocket Chassis XR1/ Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model to a podium finish in the 28th annual Pittsburgher 100 on Saturday night.

“We didn’t have enough for those two guys up front,” said Satterlee. “From the position we started off, our night turned out well. Big Game Motorsports and Lasoski Look to Build on Two Straight Years of Championships

Inside Line Promotions - WINDOM, Minn. (Oct. 10, 2016) - Big Game Motorsports only has a couple more events remaining on the 2016 schedule.

While the Muddy sponsored team is off this weekend preparing to tackle the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions season finale on Oct. 21-22 at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, driver Danny Lasoski reflected on the level of success Big Game Motorsports has recently achieved.

The team has captured the National Sprint League championship as well as the 410ci track title at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, during each of the past two years.

"That's a pretty good track record for us," he said. "In this day and time with everyone so equal you've got to put it in the driver's hands to make smart decisions. Guy (Forbrook) and everyone on the Muddy team gives me a great car. It has shown. They are second to none on maintenance and that's something I'm proud of."

While Lasoski and crew pulled away to earn sizeable wins in the NSL and Knoxville Raceway championships in 2015, this season provided more of a challenge.

"Sometimes you have to race smart and if you don't have a car that can win you take the best you can get," he said. "Sometimes that's hard to do. Sometimes you have to just take a fifth-place finish."

Consistency has been the catalyst for the Muddy backed team this year with six wins, 22 top fives and 33 top 10s so far.

"It goes to show how much prep work Guy and the guys put in each week," he said. "You have to not only win races, but consistently be on the podium to earn championships. Championships are hard fought. If you win races and you're consistent you'll be a contender. I want to thank Tod (Quiring) for believing in us."

SEASON STATS -

45 races, 6 wins, 22 top fives, 33 top 10s, 37 top 15s, 42 top 20s

Starks Closing Stout Season With Mega Events in North Carolina and Arkansas

Inside Line Promotions - PUYALLUP, Wash. (Oct. 10, 2016) - Trey Starks enjoyed a breakout season in 2015, when he registered a career-best eight feature wins.

That success has continued throughout this year as Starks has topped his previous victory mark with 10 triumphs, which have come at 10 different tracks from the West Coast to the East Coast as well as in Canada.

"I think it's really cool that we've not only won so many times, but all of them being at different tracks," he said. "It goes to show we've been pretty versatile. Everyone I've driven for has given me a good enough car to win. It goes to show how all our traveling has paid off."

Starks has won for three different teams this season, including earning a trio of victories for Jeff McCall. The duo is slated to compete during three straight weekends following an off week this weekend. The next event is Oct. 21-22 at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C., for the World Short Track Championships.

"I'm really excited to get to run The Dirt Track at Charlotte, especially with a 360," Starks said. "We've been really good in our 360 car and have been good there as well."

The team will return to the track the following weekend for the Bad Boy Off Road World of Outlaws World Finals with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. Starks led the first 12 laps of one of the main events last year before a parts failure derailed his opportunity for his first career World of Outlaws win.

"We got one taken from us last year so it'd be nice to run just as good this year and have a little luck on our side," he said.

Starks will then head to I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark., the first weekend in November for the COMP Cams Short Track Nationals. It will mark his debut at the track.

"That seems like a cool event and a fun track to race on," he said. "We're really looking forward to those next three weeks of racing starting next week."

Swindell Places 11th at Eldora With All Stars During Debut With Blazin' Racin'

Inside Line Promotions - ROSSBURG, Ohio (Oct. 10, 2016) - Sammy Swindell's debut with the Blazin' Racin' team turned into a night of learning last Saturday at Eldora Speedway.

Swindell kicked off the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions event by qualifying 12th quickest overall, which ranked fifth in his group. It was only 0.026 of a second out of fourth place, which would have lined him up on the pole of a heat race. Instead Swindell started the heat race on the inside of the third row.

"That probably would have help some," he said. "We came from fifth right to third. I passed (Dale) Blaney for second once, but he was able to slide back in front of me. The spot I was using on the track started to go away."

Swindell ended with a third-place finish in the heat race, which started him 13th for the main event.

"We made a couple of changes during the night, but it was quite a long time between when we ran our heat to the main," he said. "I got a good start, but we went from being too tight in the heat to too loose in the main. The track got really slick and we struggled a little bit. We passed some cars on the start, but a lot of them got back by. There's not much you can do when the thing goes green to checkered. We were in a little pack most of the race. You'd pass someone and then someone would pass you back."

Swindell battled for a top 10 throughout the main event before posting an 11th-place result.

"With a new team and everything being different from what I've been running, trying to put that combination together in a couple of laps is a little more than you can ask sometimes," he said. "We learned from that experience and would do better if we could go back and do it a second time."

Swindell is slated to drive for A.G. Rains this Friday and Saturday at Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, for the Winter Nationals with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour before returning to Blazin' Racin' the following weekend during the All Star season finale in Ohio.

"Thanks to Greg, Todd and Susan for the opportunity and I'm excited to see our progress in a couple of weeks," he said.
