(December 18, 2012) Wheatland, MO - It's now easier than ever to stay up with all the latest news and information concerning the Lucas Oil MLRA. During the off season, series officials encourage you to keep up with the latest happenings, so you're all set for the 2013 season when it opens at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE, April 5th and 6th.

The brand new MLRA text program will keep you in the loop. There are two ways to sign up for this free service. You can visit the official website, MLRAracing.com and click on the Text Update tab near the middle of the page on the right side, and enter the pertinent information, or from your mobile phone you can text "MLRA" to 313131. Once signed up you'll receive information about upcoming events and also weather updates. This program is open to all competitors, crews, sponsors and fans. Standard message and data rates apply.

On the ever growing social media side of things, the Lucas Oil MLRA recently eclipsed the 10,000 "Like" mark on Facebook. A direct link to the series page is located on the website, underneath the text program sign up, or it can be accessed at Facebook.com/lucasoilmlra. Not limited to just Facebook, you're also encouraged to follow along on Twitter, @mlra. The series welcomes your participation on both the Facebook and Twitter pages.

"Social media is a huge part of so many people's lives," commented Series Director Dan Robinson. "The text program is just another way we are advancing to keep ourselves current. Coupled with our Facebook and Twitter pages, there's no reason anyone shouldn't be able to follow along with the Lucas Oil MLRA as we make our way across the Midwest this season."

The Lucas Oil MLRA (Midwest Latemodel Racing Association) sanctions regional Super Dirt Late Model touring series events in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Iowa.
