Lucas Oil MLRA Announces Season Ending Banquet Information |
Media Contact: Trenton Berry This event will put the wraps on the season, and follow a busy two night season finale at Lucas Oil Speedway in the ABC 17 Lucas Oil MLRA Fall Nationals. "We have traditionally held our banquets in November, and in Kansas City, however our schedule this year has us finishing up in Wheatland, so we want to go ahead and get our banquet in while everyone is together," commented Race Director Ernie Leftwich. "It's always hard to get everyone's schedules clear later on in the year, so instead of making another trip, we think this will work out best for everyone." The location is an easy one for those in attendance at Lucas Oil Speedway earlier in the weekend. It is a straight shot east on US Hwy. 54 about 30 minutes east of the track on the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. There is an 18 hole golf course, and plenty of accommodations in either one, two or three room golf cottages within walking distance to the banquet hall. Added Series Director Dan Robinson, "We have other Lucas Oil events at Old Kinderhook, and really like the idea of moving our series banquet there.
