FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WHEATLAND, MO (July 30th, 2015) - "Monday Mayhem" and "Tornado Tuesday" are next on the Lucas Oil MLRA schedule as the series continues to break new ground at tracks across the region. Held at Keith Simmons promoted tracks of Farley Speedway and West Liberty Raceway, both in eastern Iowa, the twin $10,000 to win stops mark some of the largest single event payouts in series history.

"We're extremely appreciative of the entire Simmons Promotions group for entrusting us with these huge events," commented Series Director, Dan Robinson. "There will be the usual outstanding field of Lucas Oil MLRA drivers, plus a nice mix of other regional and national competitors."

The "Monday Mayhem" race at Farley Speedway takes place Monday, August 3rd. This race is brand new, and complements "Tornado Tuesday" at West Liberty Raceway on Tuesday, August 4th, which has been a staple in the region for several years.

Farley Speedway consists of both a 1/2 mile and 3/8 mile track. Next week the race will be contested on the 3/8 mile track. According to Simmons, Farley is one of only four privately held dirt tracks in the state. It offers incredible amenities to fans including skybox viewing and Musco lightning. The track is wide and racy, with a 16,000 sq. ft. banquet facility on the grounds too.

West Liberty Raceway is a throwback to a generation of racing gone by. It has a 1930's style covered grandstand, with a top notch surface and intense action. The 1/2 mile track is located on the Muscatine County Fairgrounds.

Terry Phillips is currently out front in the season long point standings, with Jesse Stovall in second. Ryan Gustin, Jason Utter and Chad Simpson complete the top five. RC Whitwell holds a narrow advantage over Jake O'Neil in the Sunoco Rookie of the Year chase.
