FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wheatland, Missouri (May 19, 2016) - With last weekend's unfortunate postponement of the Lucas Oil MLRA series weekend events in Iowa and Minnesota, series officials are pleased to announce a make-up date has been secured for the race at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota. Mark your calendars for this one, Wednesday, August 10, 2016 the series will venture north to the Queensland family's house of speed.

This race comes on the heels of two consecutive nights of racing in Iowa. Monday, August 8th, at Farley Speedway in Farley, Iowa and Tuesday, August 9th, at West Liberty Raceway in West Liberty, Iowa will get the week of racing started off right. Each of those shows will pay $10,000 to win and Wednesday's stop at Deer Creek remains the originally advertised $5,000 to win purse structure.

"It was important for us to work with Deer Creek Speedway and see if they had any flexibility in their schedule when we lost our original show," commented Assistant Series Director Ernie Leftwich. "I'm thankful we were able to reach a common date and try this event again. It's an outstanding track and the Queensland family has been great to work with. I can't wait to bring the Lucas Oil MLRA to Deer Creek Speedway!"

Officials are also mulling over the options in an effort to try and put the Dubuque Speedway race back on the schedule too. Nothing has been confirmed at this time however.
