Kyle Beard Heads To Winchester Speedway This Weekend

Trumann, AR (2/13/08) – Kyle Beard and Beard Motorsports are locked and loaded for this weekend’s 6th Annual Winterfest at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Tennessee.

This weekend will mark the first visit for Kyle to the south-central Tennessee, clay oval.  The track is a semi-banked ¼ mile that has received a face lift over the winter with a brand new racing surface.  Beard will look to use the new surface to power his way to his first feature win of the 2008 season.   His best finish thus far in 2008 was a 10th place finish at Columbus Speedway in the 8th Annual Winter Classic two weeks ago, against many of the same teams that he will be competing with this coming weekend.

The 6th Annual Winterfest is headlined by a $3,000 to win Super Late Model event.  The weekend gets underway with an Open Practice session from 4pm to 9pm on Friday.  On Saturday, the drivers meeting will be at 12:30 with hot laps to follow.  For more information, please visit www.WinchesterSpeedwayOnline.com .

Winterfest at Winchester Speedway Next Up For Bub McCool

Vicksburg, MS (2/13/08) – Fresh off his first win of the 2008 season and first ever win at Columbus Speedway, Bub McCool is set to return to action this weekend at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Tennessee for the 6th Annual Winterfest.

Bub will be in pursuit of his second $3,000 payday of the year at Winchester Speedway this weekend in the 40 lap Super Late Model event.  Bub pocketed $3,000 two weeks ago at Columbus Speedway in the 8th Annual Winter Classic and hopes to carry the momentum into this weekend’s event.  McCool will pilot his #57j Trakstar/Barker Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle against many of the region’s top drivers this weekend.
