Bub McCool Wins Mississippi State Championship at Whynot

Vicksburg, MS (09/21/15) – Bub McCool continued his banner year over the weekend behind the wheel of his McCool Logging #57J RBT Motorsports/Club 29 Race Car/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model by topping the 2nd Annual Mississippi State Championship at Whynot Motorsports Park.

Bub McCool returned to Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) action over the weekend by traveling to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) for the $4,000-to-win, 2nd Annual Mississippi State Championship. Drawing a field of twenty-seven Super Late Models, McCool qualified seventh fastest before capturing a heat race victory to lock into the pole position for the finale. Extending his lead in the MSCCS, Bub cruised to the A-Main win with Ray Cook, Neil Baggett, Scott Dedwylder, and Ray Moore trailing him to the finish line. He now has ten wins on the year.

Austin Theiss Takes Southern Oklahoma Checkers; Knoxville Next

Hockley, Texas (09/21/15) – For the second time this season Austin Theiss parked his Northside Plumbing Supply #7D MB Customs/Mullins Racing Engine Super Late Model in victory lane. His latest conquest came at Southern Oklahoma Speedway.

Austin Theiss headed to Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) on Saturday night for the annual Jordan Page Winter Nationals. Improving two spots in his heat, Theiss scored a 2nd place finish. Starting in the 3rd position in the feature event, Austin took the lead on the third lap and never looked back en route to the victory. Capturing his second win of the season, Austin Theiss took home the $750 payday.

“The car was really good all night, and I can’t thank Jimmy and Chris Mars for all of their help with this new MB Customs car,” commented Theiss. “The learning curve for Super Late Models has been a steep one so far, but I feel like we are getting better and better every time that we hit the track.”

Billy Moyer Jr. to Head Chassis Seminar; Set for Knoxville
