Paducah, KY (June 1, 2012) – Terry English of Benton, KY outlasted Billy Moyer of Batesville, AR to win night two of the MARS vs UMP Tri-State Challenge at Paducah International Raceway.  Not only was the win worth $5,000, but it was also his first ever win with the MARS series.

English started on the pole for the 30 lap feature with Moyer to his outside.  Running the highside, Moyer would take command of the race early and at times would have a full straight away advantage over second place.  By lap twenty, English had started to run Moyer down who seemed to be slowing down.  And as the caution flew on lap twenty-five, officials alerted Moyer that his left rear was flat.  English would take over the top spot and hang on for the win.  Moyer would finish sixteenth.

Jason Feger of Bloomington, IL started fifth and raced among the leaders in the early going, fell back a few spots, but quickly rebounded using the middle groove of the racetrack and finish second.  Ryan Unzicker of El Paso, IL; Shannon Babb of Mowequa, IL and Jesse Stovall would round out the top five.

Unzicker who started third would race his way to a second place finish.  Jesse Stovall of Galena, MO; Kevin Cole of Benton, IL and Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon, MO rounded out the top five.
