The MARS DIRTcar Series presented by Andy’s Frozen Custard opens May with a pair of events at Monett Speedway on May 1st and Springfield Raceway on May 2nd.

Monett Speedway in Monett MO will begin the weekend on Friday May 1st with a $2,000 to win show. Also racing will be Bmods, Pro-4, Midwest Mods and Pure Stocks. Grandstands open at 6pm, Hot Laps at 7pm and Racing at 7:30pm. Adult general admission is $20, Juniors 15 – 12 are $5 and 11 and under are free. Pit pass is $35. Additional information on the race track is available at www.monettspeedway.net.

On Saturday May 2nd, the martians return to Springfield Raceway for their second appearance of the 2015 season. Sponsored by Vatterott College, the race pays $2,000 to win. Also racing will be Amods, Bmods, Midwest Modz, Pure Stocks, Legends and Kruzrs. Pits open at 3:30pm, Grandstands at 5pm, Hot laps at 6:30pm and Racing at 7pm. Adult general admission is $20, kids 6 -12 are $5 and kids 5 and under are free. Pit pass is $35. Additional information on the race track is available at www.springfieldraceway.com.
