Wheatland, Missouri - September 17th, 2013 - Season Champions will be crowned in all (4) Lucas Oil Speedway Weekly Racing Series classes this Saturday, September 21st as Bill Roberts Chevrolet-Buick in Bolivar, Missouri presents Season Championship Night. "It seems like just yesterday we were getting the season going but these guys have been chasing this title since April and we are going to crown the champions this Saturday." stated Track General Manager Dan Robinson. "It has been a great season with very competitive races, great car counts, and amazing fans all year long."
This will be final time the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Models, Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks, and Tri-Lakes RV B-Mods will hit the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" in 2013.
Henley, Missouri's Jason Russell continues to dominate the track and region in the ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Model points this season as he holds a substantial 116 point lead in the season long points battle over Walnut Grove, Missouri's Jeremy Kelley. Nevada, Missouri's Jon Sheets has closed the margin on Sedalia, Missouri's Terry Schultz in the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds to just 61 points with his win last Saturday night.
Brian Schutt has once again opened up his lead on Joplin's Johnny Coats in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks to 116 points going into the final event of the season. Finally, Kris Jackson in the Tri-Lakes RV B-Mods has also dominated the season long points and has a 114 point lead over Verona, Missouri's Colt Pruente.
