Spring Thunder set for Lucas Oil Speedway

(April 9, 2013) Wheatland, MO - After a great opening weekend at I-80 Speedway in Nebraska, the Lucas Oil MLRA is right back at it this weekend with a show at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday April 13th. Lucas Oil MLRA "Spring Thunder" promises to bring action and excitement. Plus, it will be the only time to see Super Late Models in Wheatland, Missouri prior to the 21st Annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100 Presented by Protect the Harvest weekend. "This is always a great event and top notch show," commented Series Director Dan Robinson. "It will open the circle track season at Lucas Oil Speedway with a bang. Our guys put on two great shows in Nebraska last weekend and will do so again on Saturday night."

The brand new Lucas Oil MLRA t-shirts will be unveiled and available for purchase in the Track Treasures gift shop. One of the designs is a commemorative 25th Anniversary t-shirt, you will definitely want to check out.

Two provisionals are available for Lucas Cattle Company ULMA racers too. One provisional will go the highest finisher in overall points last year, not already qualified. The other will go to the highest in last year's track standings, not already qualified.

This weekend will also see the phasing in of the new tires for Lucas Oil MLRA competition. The following compounds are acceptable for the right rear; Hoosier 06, LM40 or WRS55. The following compounds are acceptable for the left rear and fronts; Hoosier 1640, LM40 and/or WRS55.
