LoneStar's $5,000/win Topless Turkey Nationals Set for November 28th

Kilgore TX (10/16/15) by DarinShort.com. The final SUPR Late Model Series event of 2015 will be the biggest paying, when the LoneStar Turkey Nationals hits the high banks of LoneStar Speedway (LSS) Saturday, November 28th. The feature race is 40 laps in distance and pays $5,000 to win and $500 to start. This is also the final LSS event of the 2015 season.

As in the past three years, the SUPR Late Model Series cars will race topless, giving race fans a clear view of the drivers as they wheel their cars around the wide, high-banked .33 mile oval.

The event is sponsored in part by P&W Sales located in Kilgore, Texas. P&W has been supplying drilling and oilfield products to the industry for over 50 years. P&W is also a proud sponsor of the 2013 LoneStar Turkey Nationals winner and 2015 Cotton Picken 100 winner, Morgan Bagley of Longview, TX.

Fans can expect an excellent field of Late Model division drivers including 2014 LoneStar Turkey Nationals winner Patrik Daniel, Jon Mitchell, B.J. Robinson, Rob Litton, Allen Tippen, Tyler Erb, Kody Barber, Rick Duke, Danny Zimmerman, Ronny Adams, Curt Lipsey, Robbie Stuart, David LaFleur, Robert Metz Jr, Shane Hebert, Ray Moore, Chandler Petty, Robert Baker, Brett Frazier, Derek Perkins; and a host of other great drivers from across the region.

The super-charged SUPR Late Model feature payback is as follows: $5,000 - 1,500 - 1,200 - 1,100 - 1,000 - 800 - 750 - 700 - 650 - 600 - 550 - 500...to start. Normal SUPR entry fees and non-qualifier payback are in effect. Other than the Late Model drivers required to being topless, all other SUPR rules and formats will be in effect.

In addition to the SUPR Late Model Series, a complete program of Modifieds, Limited Modifieds and Factory Stocks will compete. There is no entry fee in the Modified, Limited Modified and Factory Stock divisions.

Modifieds will be racing for $1,200 to win and $120 to start; while the Limited Modified feature winner will take home $600 and pays down to $70 to start; and Factory Stocks will pay $400 to win and $50 to start. Complete purse breakdown is posted at the track website under the 'resources' section.
