$21,000 LONESTAR SPEEDWAY 6th ANNIVERSARY SUPER SPECTACULAR - SATURDAY JUNE 13th at 8PM!

LoneStar Speedway (LSS) fans will be treated to a huge doubleheader event on Saturday, June 13th, with the first-ever visit of the Texas Outlaw Modified Series and the "For the Love of Alex, Stop Texting and Driving" Limited Modified Spectacular. A total racing purse of $21,000 cash is posted.

Both of the events were previously postponed due to weather - creating this doubleheader. Plus, a complete program of Factory Stocks and a feature race in the Beginner Factory Stocks will round out the 4-division racing card.

June 13th also coincides with the 6th Anniversary celebration of the 'new' LoneStar Speedway, and we'll have lots of extra prize giveaways, kids bicycle drawings & much, much more. So make sure to round up all the kids for this extra special night of fun and excitement.

This will be a Texas Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) sanctioned points event, with an excellent competitor purse being posted; $2,000 to win and $200 to start (24th). The full driver payback is listed below. This is also a full LSS points event for all race divisions (see below). USRA rules will be in effect for the Modifieds. Any Modified driver not USRA licensed can purchase a temporary license at the track on race night for $10. The standard TOMS entry fee of $50 is in effect for the Modifieds, and any non-qualifiers will receive $100 each!

Fans can expect to see TOMS drivers such Clyde Dunn Jr., Wesley Veal, Kyle Sweeny, Bobby Malcus, Cody Smith, Josh Landers, Danny Veal, Troy Taylor, Colby Smith, Charlie Smith, Kevin Sustaire, Triston Dycus, Chase Allen, Billy Brierton, B.J. Baze...and many more.

With this being a point's event for the LoneStar Speedway Modified teams, joining the strong TOMS contingent will be the tough-to-beat LoneStar Speedway Modified drivers, such as Jason Ingalls, Wes Armstrong, Billy Melton, Billy Jack Brutchin, Kelly Lockey, Jeff Harris, Robert Taylor, T.J. Steele, Greg Penny, Glen Perry, Donnie Powers, Dennie Gieber, Clint Mayne, Larry Fears, and Donny McBride Jr.

Limited Modified teams will be competing for one of their biggest purses of the season June 13th, with the running of the $1,300/win and $100/start (24th) "For the Love of Alex, Stop Texting and Driving" 25-lap feature event. The full feature payback is listed below. There is no entry fee for the Limited Modifieds on June 13! All non-qualifiers receive $30 each.

Trisha and Robert Taylor have stepped up to help raise awareness of the dangers of texting and driving, combined with a long list of sponsors, have helped to raise the competitor purse in the Limited Modified division.

On April 26, 2010, Trisha and Robert Taylor received the call that forever changed their lives, as their daughter Alex had been in an accident and was being taken by air flight to East Texas Medical Center, and would not survive her injuries. The accident was attributed to texting and driving.

Robert is veteran LoneStar Speedway driver, along with his wife Trisha, continue to help raise awareness of the dangers of texting and driving at their Facebook page titled For the love of Alex Stop Texting and Driving. The Modified feature race will be contested over 30 green flag laps, and a very solid competitor purse is being offered by LSS: $2,000 - $1,000 - 800 - 600 - 500 (5th) - 400 - 300 - 280 - 260 - 240 (10th) - 220 - 200...through 24th. All Non-Qualifiers will receive $100. The standard TOMS entry fee of $50 will be in effect, and this is a USRA sanctioned points event. Non-USRA licensed drivers can purchase a temporary USRA license at the track on race night for $10.

The "For the Love of Alex, Stop Texting and Driving" Limited Modified feature race will be 25 laps and the payback is as follows: $1,300 - $800 - $700 - $600 - $500 (5th) - $400 - $300 - $200 - $180 - $160 (10th) - $140 - $120 - $100...to 24! There is no entry fee in the Limited Modifieds and any non-qualifier will receive $30.

Joining the special Modified & Limited Modified events will be a complete LSS points program for Factory Stocks ($500/win).

The Factory Stocks were posted to receive $300/win, however TNT Pick-a-Part in Greenwood LA has added $200 to the winners purse. TNT will also select a Factory Stock driver that during the course of the night has Hard Luck, and will provide them with a $200 credit towards stock replacement parts at TNT, which will help get them 'back on track.'

Any Factory Stock non-qualifiers will receive $20 each. The Beginner Factory Stocks will round out the packed night of racing and fun with their feature event. Complete purse posted at track website.

General Adult Grandstand Admission to this event is just $15! Kids ages 6-11 are only $5 - as we want everyone to be able to afford to come see this special night of racing and family fun! Senior Citizens and Active Military (with I.D.) are $13. All pit passes are still at the LSS 'weekly' price of $30 for all ages.

Here are some quick facts for the SATURDAY, JUNE 13th LONESTAR SPEEDWAY event:

-This is our first 'Summer Hours' event of 2015, which is a slightly later starting time

-Pits open by 4pm, Grandstands open by 6pm, TOMS autograph session from 6:30-7pm (behind grandstands), Drivers Meeting 7:10pm, Track Packing 7:20pm, Hot Laps at 7:30pm; with Racing to follow immediately (by 8pm). The draw-in for heat races closes at 7pm.

-General Admission just $15 (ages 12-64; general admission tickets available at the gate on race day only)

-Kids (ages 6-11) just $5

-Ages 5 and under admitted free with Adult admission

-Active Military (with I.D.) or Senior’s (Ages 65+) General Admission $13

-Upgrade any ticket to the Reserved Section (bucket seats) for $5 per person
