MAY 10th LONESTAR SPEEDWAY SPECIAL EVENT CONTINUES TO GROW

LoneStar Speedway would like to thank Jim Hitz with All Points Systems Wholesale Copiers (Marshall, TX 318-465-5075) for joining in on the sponsor list for the Sunday May 10th "For the Love of Alex Stop Texting and Driving" special event at LoneStar Speedway.

Jim has generously added prize money to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishers in the Limited Modified feature race.

This purse addition brings current feature race payback in the 25-lap Limited Modified feature race to: $1,300, $750, $500, $300, $200, $180, $160, $140, $120 and $100 down to 24th place. All non-qualifiers receive $30, and there is no driver entry fee in any division that night.

We anticipate more businesses to come on board between now and race day to continue building the competitor purse. When new sponsors come on board, we will update the purse structure. An event flyer will be posted in the weeks to come.

GRANDSTAND SPECIAL! May 10th also falls on Mother's Day, so we are letting all Mother's in to the main grandstand area for just $5!

So after all the brunches, BBQ's and get togethers are over, change into your racing clothes and finish off the special day with an awesome race! A special 5pm 'twilight' start time will be in effect, so we can get everyone on their way back home at an early time.

All three LoneStar points divisions (Modifieds ($1,000 to win), Ltd Mods and Factory Stocks ($300/win)) are racing that night, but the Limited Modifieds are the featured division.

Trish and Robert Taylor are spearheading the effort to raise awareness of the dangers or texting and driving to the public through this event, and are seeking additional businesses to help sponsor and build this event.
