WAYCROSS, GA (September 26, 2016) - The stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are set to return to Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, NC on Thursday, September 29th. The lightning-fast, 4/10-mile oval will host the Dunn Benson Ford Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial - boasting a $10,000 top prize.

The Dunn Benson Ford Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial will include a complete program of: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The night will also feature: Fayetteville Motor Speedway Late Models, Modifieds, Pure Stocks, and U-Car divisions.

Jonathan Davenport will return as the defending champion of the Dunn Benson Ford Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial. In 2015, Davenport assumed the point from Earl Pearson Jr. on lap-27 and went on to win his fourth consecutive Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event. Pearson Jr. finished second, followed by Steve Francis, Steve Casebolt, and Ross Bailes.

WAYCROSS, GA (September 26, 2016) - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will return to the Peach State this weekend for an action-packed doubleheader. A band of the nation's elite dirt late model drivers will tackle two venues that have been pillars on the LOLMDS tour.

The activities will kick off on Saturday night, October 1st with the Lucas Oil Dixie Shootout at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA. This year's event will feature a complete program of: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 60-lap, $12,000-to-win main event. The last series visit to Dixie Speedway (2014) saw Chris Madden claim his second consecutive Dixie Shootout over Dale McDowell, Don O'Neal, Steve Francis, and Jimmy Owens.

On Sunday night, October 2nd the action will shift to Rome International Speedway in Rome, GA for the Lucas Oil Rome Showdown. The event will include: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event. Scott Bloomquist will return as the defending race winner - after claiming the victory in 2014 - ahead of Brandon Overton, Chris madden, Rick Eckert, and Casey Roberts.
