WAYCROSS, GA (April 2, 2013) - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is pleased to announce a new program titled the Keyser Manufacturing Point Leader Challenge. This new program sponsored by Keyser Manufacturing based in Coopersville, MI will showcase the Lucas Oil Championship Point leader, stating at the next event, April 5th at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, MS.
The LOLMDS championship point leader will display a unique day-glow orange spoiler blade provided by Keyser Manufacturing. at each event. Fans and competitors will be able to recognize the series point leader at each event by this unique spoiler. The series point leader will be easily spotted from the grandstands and on TV broadcasts by locating the car with the Keyser Manufacturing Point Leader Spoiler Blade. Don O'Neal will be the first driver to display the day-glow orange spoiler blade as the series championship point leader at Jackson Motor Speedway.
Under this program the series point leader will receive an additional $200 added to their winner circle/appearance money they receive at each venue. The Keyser Manufacturing Point Leader Challenge will also include a Keyser Manufacturing points category for drivers that lead the series championship point standings at each event. The driver that holds the series point lead and displays the unique day-glow orange spoiler at the most events during the season will earn a $2,500 cash award and a $2,500 product award at the series year-end awards banquet. This special banquet award will be presented by Keyser Manufacturing representatives and a chance to recognize the driver that wins this first year program.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series heads south to Mississippi and Texas this weekend for two events on April 5th and 6th. On Friday night, April 5th the series makes a visit to Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, MS before heading to LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore, TX on Saturday night, April 6th. There will be a complete show both nights with RED BUCK Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains and a $10,000 to win 50-lap feature event both nights.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tire rule in effect for both Jackson Motor Speedway and LoneStar Speedway on April 5th and 6th will be as follows: The right rear must be a Hoosier 01, 03, 06, or LM40. The ONLY left rears and fronts must be a Hoosier rib 1300, 1350. No 1640's or LM40s on the LR & Fronts.
