Legit Speedway roars into week two with the two-night West Plains Recycling “Scrappin 50” B Mod race

Coming off a hugely successful inaugural night, Legit Speedway will host one practice night and two nights of racing this week in the West Plains Recycling “Scrappin 50” . On Thursday night drivers will be able to run hot laps during the practice session. Then, on Friday night, fans will get to enjoy the qualifying race in the USRA B-Mod class, along with heat races and features for Bone and Hobby Stock classes. Gates will open both race nights at 5 p.m. with hot laps starting at 6:30 and racing at 7.

Saturday nights “Scrappin 50” feature will be a 50 lap $3000 to win USRA B-Mod race. Also on Saturday will be “Last Chance” races and heat and feature races for Super Stock and IMCA Modified divisions. Six divisions over two nights with the Saturday night West Plains Recycling Scrappin 50 race paying $3000 to the winner. It should be two action packed nights at Legit Speedway.

 “We are very grateful to our sponsor, West Plains Recycling, for helping put on this event. They have been really instrumental in helping get this track open again. It’s going to be a great night to show off the talent and hard work of these guys in the B-Mod cars,” said Legit Speedway owner, Gary Stolba.

This weeks event pays $3000 to win and should draw a large field of USRA B-Mod racers and fans. Tickets are available at the event sponsor, West Plains Recycling or may be purchased at the gate. Prices are $10 for adults,  $8 for Veterans and Senior adults, kids 6-12 are $5, and kids under 6 are free.
