Ticket prices confirmed for April races,
season opener program details announced
   
CALVERT CITY, Ky. –  Regular-event ticket prices will be in effect for the first two racing programs at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway on April 12 and 19, with grandstand admission set at $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 60 and older and no charge for children 10 and under.

 For the grand opening special Bluegrass Nationals on April 26, grandstand admission will be $25, with seniors admitted for $15 and free admission for children 10 and under.

Pit admission for all three events will be $45 for driver and car and $30 for individuals.

For the April 12 and 19 events, the pit gate will open at 3 p.m. and spectator gate at 4. The drivers meeting is scheduled for 5, with practice and qualifying to get under way at 5:30.

The schedule of events for the Bluegrass Nationals will be announced in the near future.

The same four divisions – UMP Late Model, UMP Modified, UMP Pro (Crate) Late Model and UMP Stock Car – will fill out the field for all three nights of racing.

In the first two programs, Late Model competitors will race for $1,000 to win in a 25-lap main event that will be the feature attraction of regular weekly programs. The Modified feature will be 25 laps, with $700 to the winner; Pro Late Models will run 20 laps for a $600 first-place payoff; and Stock Cars will run 20 laps with $500 going to the winner.

The Bluegrass Nationals will offer first-place prize money of $10,000, $5,000, $3,000 and $2,500 to the four classes, respectively.

Parking is free and overnight camping on the speedway grounds is available at no charge. There are no facilities for campers.
