Jackson Motor Speedway Continues 2008 This Saturday Night
 
Byram, Mississippi (4/29/08) – Jackson Motor Speedway will continue the 2008 campaign this Saturday, May 3rd with a Weekly Racing Series Event.

Last weekend, the MSCCS Super Late Models were scheduled to invade JMS, but for the second time in 2008, Mother Nature had different ideas and nixed the program. 

This Saturday, a Weekly Racing Series event is scheduled and will be highlighted by the Extreme Wireless Super Late Models battling for $1,500 to win in their feature event.

Also in action this Saturday, May 3rd at JMS will be The Home Improvement Company Limited Late Models, Trick Race & Hawkins Machine Shop Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Touch of Class Body Shop Stingers.

Grandstand general admission for the event is $12 for adults, $6 for children (7-12 years of age), $6 for seniors (65 and older), and children 6 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Pit admission for adults is $25, $15 for children (7-12 years of age), seniors (65 years of age and older) are $15, and children 6 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Pit gates open at 4 pm with the grandstand area opening at 5 pm.  Driver’s meeting will be at 6 pm with hotlaps at 6:15 pm and heat races at 7 pm. 

Also, please make sure to mark your special events calendar for May 17th, when the winged warriors of the ASCS Sprint Car Series invade JMS.

On May 30th-31st, the Mid America Racing Series (M.A.R.S.) Super Late Models will invade Jackson Motor Speedway for the first time ever.  Each night will be highlighted by a separate event including a $2,000 to win feature on Friday night and a $6,000 to win feature on Saturday night.  Defending and four time M.A.R.S. champion, Bill Frye, from Greenbriar, Arkansas headlines the list of weekend entries that includes Jeremy Payne (Missouri), Dusty Johnston (Arkansas), Terry Phillips (Missouri), and many more of the region’s top drivers.
