$2500 to win IMCA Modified Shootout This Friday at the Outlaw!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – March 27, 2013 - The new owners at Outlaw Motorsports Park (formally Outlaw Motor Speedway) in Wainwright, Oklahoma will get the 2013 racing action underway this coming Friday night as the track will host the inaugural “IMCA Modified Shootout” paying $2500 to that nights Championship feature winner. Also competing will be the northern sport mods and late models.

This IMCA modified event will be sanctioned, as they will be all race season long as the track will run the three above mentioned divisions each and every Sunday afternoon with both the modifieds and northern sport mods sanctioned.

A new racing surface, revamped pit area and more changes have been made to “The Outlaw,” which will hold two nights of racing action during the season.

You won’t want to go very far after the Friday night event as the track will run Saturday night as well featuring the outlaw (USRA type) modifieds; 360 modifieds; pro-street stocks; pure stocks and factory stocks. The racing program on this night will be what you see all race season long and this will be a tune up, of sorts, to prepare for the season opener on Saturday night, April 6th.

The Sunday IMCA sanctioned weekly racing season will kick off on Sunday afternoon, April 14th with pit gates on those afternoons opening at noon and racing action to start at 2:00 PM.

Gates open both nights at 5:00 PM with racing slated for racing action both nights at 7:00 PM. Outlaw Motorsports Park is located seven miles south of Muskogee on Hwy. 69 at the Wainwright exit. Coming from I-40 head north on Hwy 69 to the same Wainwright exit.
