Dale Hollidge Joins Forces with Gunter’s Honey Motorsports

Mechanicsville, Maryland (10/16/15) – Maryland racer, Dale Hollidge is proud to announce that he has joined forced with Greg Gunter and Gunter’s Honey Motorsports effective immediately.

“I’m really excited and fortunate to be able to team up with Greg,” commented Hollidge. “He does so much for the sport with the tracks and the race team, and I can’t thank him enough for this incredible opportunity. Hopefully this will lead to many years of success for everyone involved with the program.”

Gunter has provided associate sponsorship on Hollidge’s family-owned #0 Super Late Model over the past few seasons. In addition to operating Potomac Speedway (Budd’s Creek, Maryland) and Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Virginia) Gunter has also been a long-time car owner for various drivers from the East Coast. In recent seasons he fielded a team for Virginia’s J.T. Spence. Spence made the decision to step away from racing at the end of the 2015 season, and that left Greg looking for a driver.

“I was blown away, when he called and asked if I wanted the ride,” said Hollidge. “This is truly a dream come true. I’m not sure I’ve ever been this excited. We experienced more than our fair share of struggles and bad luck this season, so it’s definitely going to be a nice change of pace to have such a quality ride.”

Hollidge will debut with the team on October 31st-November 1st at the annual Sunoco Fall Classic at Natural Bridge Speedway (Natural Bridge, Virginia). The team will use the event as a chance to shake everything down as they prepare for a big season in 2016. The team plans to contest for the track championships at Potomac Speedway and Winchester Speedway in 2016, while also entering various special events, when the schedule allows.

The team will utilize Rocket Chassis with Hershey Racing Engines and will carry Hollidge’s familiar #0 on the door panels.

“Joe Pingleton will continue to be my crew chief,” noted Hollidge. “Since he joined the team in 2013 he has really stepped up my program and was a big factor behind my World of Outlaws Late Model Series win at Winchester (Speedway) in 2013.”

Dale is also excited to welcome Integra Shocks on board for 2016.

“Integra Shocks has come on board as a partner, which is amazing to have a company like that to be a part of our team. I have been on Integra’s products since 2010 and have had great success with them. Their products are truly second to none.”

The team continues to add new sponsors for 2016 and any interested marketing partners can contact Hollidge at DaleHollidge@yahoo.com or at 240-538-8839.

Hollidge concludes by saying, “I couldn’t be more excited about the future for myself and the Gunter’s Honey team. I really believe we can accomplish some big things.”

Gunter’s Honey is located in Berryville Virginia. The tasty products from Gunter’s Honey are sold nationwide in local and major retailers.

Dale Hollidge would like to thank all of his sponsors including Gunter’s Honey, Hershey’s Racing Engines, Rocket Chassis, Integra Shocks, Performance Auto Works, Joe’s Fabrication, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, and All About Wraps.
