GRT Race Cars Tabs Chad Wheeler as Third Late Model House Car Driver at Select Events!

(GREENBRIER, ARKANSAS) GRT Race Cars owner Joe Garrison announced today that veteran Open Wheel Modified driver Chad Wheeler will pilot a third House Car at select Super Late Model events during the course of the 2015 racing season! Joining full-time standouts Jeremy Payne and Jason Fitzgerald, Chad is scheduled to drive a GRT-prepared entry in about a dozen races this year. The first two shows circled on Chad's calendar will be a Lucas Oil MLRA Series doubleheader at the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on April 10-11.

Other programs on Chad's '15 radar include MLRA battles at Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma, as well as MARS DIRTcar Series showdowns at Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Missouri, Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, Oklahoma, and Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma. The Muskogee, Oklahoma ace also plans on entering the annual running of the 'Show-Me 100' at Lucas Oil (MO) Speedway over Memorial Day weekend and is contemplating other high-profile events including the 'Dirt Late Model Dream' and 'Diamond Nationals.' More information about Chad Wheeler can be found online at www.wheelerracing.com.

Jeremy and the #186 team will once again concentrate on the Lucas Oil MLRA Series in 2015, as they chase the series Championship for the second straight season. JP finished third in last year's MLRA point standings while visiting victory lane on the tour on two different occasions. While the Springfield, Missouri transplant has done some Open Wheel Modified racing himself during the month of March, Jeremy will start the MLRA campaign on April 3-4 at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska. Having already picked up a win in Southern Thunder Late Model Series action on February 6 at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, Georgia, Jason will enter a mixture of UDLMCS, Southern Thunder, and NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series shows across Florida and Georgia.
