8th Annual Gumbo Nationals Super Late Model Tech Bulletin

Greenville, Mississippi (09/18/14) – Greenville Speedway has announced a Super Late Model tech bulletin for the 8th Annual Gumbo Nationals, which will be held October 2nd-4th. All Super Late Model competitors will be required to run 8" spoilers regardless of engine type or size.

"We felt like it was time to get our rules for this event in alignment with all of the other big events in the area in October," said track manager, James Clolinger. "All of the tracks have made a concerted effort to work together over the past few years, and we want to do our part, so that's why we are mandating the 8" spoiler on all Super Late Model entries.  We appreciate everyone's support and understanding."

Each and every year the Gumbo Nationals continues to grow with more cars and more fans, and for 2014 the Super Late Model purse has grown by over $10,000 as it will now boast a total payout in excess of $40,000 for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model competitors. The finale will be headlined by a $10,000-to-win/$1,000-to-start, 75 lap feature, which marks the richest event in the facilities history.
