Q. What is the 7thAnnual Firecracker 100?

A. In its seventh year, the Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com continues to be a Crown Jewel event in Dirt Late Model Racing. The three-day format, which debuted in 2010, has continued to thrill the fans with great racing all three nights and an incredible array of family-friendly events that allows fans of all ages access to interact with their favorite drivers. Three nights, three complete shows, capped off by the 100-lap, $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com A-main!



Thursday and Friday nights will feature a full World of Outlaws Late Model Series program complete with time trials, heats, Last Chance Showdowns, and $6,000-to-win, 30-lap A-main.



A points system from nights one & two will set the heat lineups for Saturday night. Following the heats will be a pair of Last Chance Showdowns, the Uncle Sam 30 non-qualifier’s race and the 6th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com A-main



Scott Bloomquist joined rival Jimmy as the only repeat winners of the event. Other past winners include Brian Birkhofer, and Shane Clanton. The full roster of World of Outlaws Late Model Series stars will be in action including defending series Champion, Darrell Lanigan who is literally itching to add this race to his otherwise impressive resume!   



Q. When is it?

A. Thursday-Friday-Saturday, June 27-28-29, 2013



Q. Is reserved seating available?

A. Yes! The majority of the main grandstand seats are designated as reserved. Seats available for purchase may be reviewed in real time online by clicking the “Buy Tickets” icon on the front page of www.lernerville.com.  You can also call the speedway office during normal business hours at (724) 353-1511.



Q. How much are advance tickets?

A. Three-day Reserved and General Admission packages are $69 for adults and $19 for children 10 and under. All three-day reserved tickets purchased in advance include a FREE fan pit pass upgrade for Thursday and Friday nights.

Q. Will I still be able to purchase ticket on the day(s) of the event(s)?

A. Yes! Lernerville is blessed with many great seats, even in the general admission areas!

Q. Can I purchase pit passes in advance?

A. Eligibility for the valuable insurance benefits and money-saving discounts offered to DIRTcar Members are verified in person therefore pit passes are sold day of show only. Pit passes must be purchased in person at the Pit Window located outside the main entrance to the pit area. Once there, you will be required to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability and will be issued a wristband.



Q. How much are pit passes?

A. Please note that pit passes do not guarantee a seat in the main grandstand.

Three-Day Pit Pass DIRTcar Members - $75 Non-Members - $85

Two-Day Pit Pass (Available Friday Only) DIRTcar Members - $60 Non-Members - $65

Thursday-only and Friday-only Pit Pass DIRTcar Members - $30 Non-Members - $35

Saturday-only Pit Pass DIRTcar Members - $35 Non-Members – $40



Q. What is the age limit for the pit area?

A. There is not an age limit for the pit area at this event. Minors (ages 17 and younger) must submit a full-executed “Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement/ Minor’s Assumption of Risk and Release Waiver of Liability”. These documents will be available at the Pit Windows.



Q. Will I be able to upgrade my ticket to include a pit pass for Saturday night?

A. Yes! Pit pass upgrades will be $10 for adults.



Q. How do I get tickets?

A. Tickets can be obtained by visiting the lernerville.com website and clicking the “Buy Tickets” icon. You can also call the Lernerville Speedway office Monday – Friday 9 am – 5:30 pm at (724) 353-1511 or by visiting the Lernerville box office on race day. Tickets purchased prior to Wednesday, June 6, 2011, will be mailed via the United States Postal Service. Tickets purchased after this date will be held at Lernerville Speedway’s Will Call window for pick up beginning Wednesday, June 26.



Q. Is there a fireworks show!

A. It’s not called the Firecracker 100 for nothing, of course there are fireworks. A spectacular one-of-a-kind concert-style fireworks and pyrotechnic display by our friends at Legendary Entertainment will light the sky all weekend.







Q. Is NoMAD performing in concert again this year?

A. Of course they are! NoMad has rocked the crowd every year following the Friday night racing program. As always, homegrown recording artist Vanessa Campagna and Andy Gibson will open the show before NoMAD takes the stage to headline the Froggy Hometown Country Tour. Be sure to check out Andy, Vanessa and NoMAD Friday night, you’ll be glad you did. And don’t miss the Justin Fabus Band after Thursday’s racing action!  Hearing great things about these guys!

Q. What is there to do for three days between the races?

A. Fans can participate in a Cornhole Contest, Best Tailgate Contest, Best Campsite Contest, Driver Autograph Session and the always popular Driver/Fan Horseshoe Tournament and Weenie Roast.  Fans will also be treated by concerts Thursday and Friday night and an awesome fireworks display.  We’re also going to debut the Firecracker Kick It Cup Charity Kickball game this year.



Q. What is the Firecracker Kick It Cup?

A. Sprint car fans are familiar with the Kick It! Foundation Charity Kickball games that have been contested at Skagit, Williams Grove, Knoxville, Eldora and other tracks around the country.  Well, we’re bringing that model to the Firecracker!  Drivers from the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, as well as local driver Jared Miley, Greg Satterlee, Dave Hess Jr. and Michael Norris have registered to play an old-fashioned game of kickball in the name of Kids Cancer Research and fans can donate to their favorite driver’s profile at http://www.kick-it.org/events/firecracker-100-kick-it-cup. The top two donation totals will be team captains!  The game will be held at the Football Field Friday afternoon at 1:00!



Q. How do I sign up for the Cornhole and Driver/Fan Horseshoe Tournament?

A. Contestants will be chosen throughout the three-day Firecracker weekend in a variety of ways including t-shirt tosses, trivia questions and sign-ups at the Lernerville and GottaRace.com souvenir trailers.



Q. Are coolers permitted?

A. Small coolers are permitted at Lernerville Speedway, with no glass containers. Coolers must be “personal” size only. No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the speedway grounds. Alcohol must be purchased on site or left at your camp site.



Q. Is camping available?

A. For a three-day show? Of course! We have a variety of camping packages to suit all types of parties. There will be reserved areas that are family friendly, party friendly and back by popular demand, a trackside camping area! Call (724) 353-1511 for details and to reserve your spot today!





Q. Will there be showers on site?

A. Yes! We will have showers on site this year thanks to the fine folks at Approved Toilet Rentals!



Q. Will the pits be open after the races?

A. Yes, the pits will open after the completion of all on-track activity Saturday night so the fans in the stands can see the cars and stars up close and in person!



Q. How do I enter to come and race?

A. Officials Entry Applications are available for download on the Firecracker 100 page of the lernerville.com webpage or by calling the Lernerville Speedway office at (724) 353-1511. Drivers can also pick up an entry form at the pit board any Friday night!



Q. What are the tire rules?

A. The DIRTcar Late Model tire rule will be in effect. Late Model teams will run Hoosier LM10, LM20, LM30 or LM40 tires exclusively.



Q. What is the purse?

A. Throughout the action packed three-day Firecracker weekend, over $172,000 in total purse will be paid out. Thursday and Friday night features will each pay $6,000-to-win, the Uncle Sam 30 presented by Turner’s Premium Iced Teas non-qualifiers race will pay $3,000-to-win and the Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com will pay $30,000-to-win.



Q. What is the procedure for requesting media credentials?

A. All credential requests must be submitted in writing at least 10 days prior to the event. Credential requests must be on the media outlet letterhead and signed by the assigning editor. Credential requests must be submitted to Eric Westendorf via email at ewestendorf@dirtcar.com.



Q. Where is the track located?

A. Lernerville Speedway is easy to find along Route 356 in Sarver, PA. The speedway is a short trip from any direction; the PA Turnpike and Route 28 north from Pittsburgh, Interstate 79 and PA Turnpike East from Cranberry Township, and Routes 8 and 422. Lernerville Speedway is located at 313 N. Pike Rd., Sarver, PA 16055.
