FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: WAYCROSS, GA (August 3, 2016) - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will return to Fayetteville Motor Speedway in 2016. The stars of the nation's premier dirt late model tour will tackle the lightning-fast, 4/10-mile oval on Thursday, September 29th. The Dunn Benson Ford Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial will include a complete program of: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The night will also feature: Fayetteville Motor Speedway Late Models, Modifieds, Pure Stocks, and U-Car divisions. Jonathan Davenport will return as the defending champion of the Dunn Benson Ford Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial. In 2015, Davenport assumed the point from Earl Pearson Jr. on lap-27 and went on to win his fourth consecutive Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event.
