Second Round of Voting Underway in Mod Madness Fan Fund

Rochester, MN (June 10th, 2014) - Coming off their highly successful first year Modified Madness is back at it again. The second round of voting is currently underway to determine the final competitors to receive assistance for the 2014 Featherlite Fall Jamboree September 18th-20th at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN.

Modified Madness's Fan Fund is to help drivers with a longer haul or potential need for a financial boost, to compete at Deer Creek Speedway, for the Fall Jamboree. The 2013 Fan Fund collected close to $10,000 worth of sponsorship certificates, fan donation votes and other general fund monies. Last year's top vote and donation recipient was Kerry Davis of Platte City, MO. Other participants included 2013 USRA National Champion Matt Dotson, Scott Stiffler and Tracy Denby, Jr. Darron Fuqua, who was also a part of the earlier voting process but didn't make the Final Five. He still attended the race and received his fan donation vote funds.

The second round of voting ends July 15th to determine the Final Five participants. They will also be vying for the top votes and donations in the 3rd and final round of voting. Each participant in the final five will receive general funding, sponsorship certificates and donations and fan donations from fan votes. Here's how the voting process works; Fans of the Mod Madness Fan Fund on Facebook can register one vote per driver by going to the 2014 Official Fan Fund Voting album and comment that they are voting for that driver on the driver's photo. This is limited to one vote per Facebook account per driver. Unlimited votes may also be registered through cash donations via the ModMadnessFanFund.org site by clicking on one of the donation buttons and specifying which driver is being voted for in the notes. This process uses credit card via PayPal or transfer from a current PayPal account. Checks are also an option; contact the page directly for more info on this form of payment. Each dollar donation is worth 3 votes for the driver of choice. For instance, a $10 donation to your driver of choice is worth 30 votes to that driver. Modified Madness is also seeking marketing partners to help with the program. If interested, contact the page to see how you can become a part of the team. Modified Madness decals are also available to put on your vehicle. The stickers are $4 a piece or three can be had for $10. All profits go to the Mod Madness Fan Fund general fund for the Final Five vote recipients.
