Rick Eckert Notches Second Straight Win in Chiller Thriller at Winchester Speedway!

(YORK, PENNSYLVANIA)  York, Pennsylvania star Rick Eckert was back in victory lane for the second straight Saturday night on March 22 at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Virginia!  Aboard Paul Crowl's #7 entry once again, Rick timed in fourth quickest during the qualifying session prior to picking up the win in heat race action.

After rolling off from the outside of the front row in the 35-lap 'Chiller Thriller,' Rick grabbed the point at the drop of the green flag and held the top spot throughout the unsanctioned event.  "Scrub" eventually netted the $2,500 triumph for beating J.T. Spence, Gregg Satterlee, Greg Roberson, and Kenny Pettyjohn to the checkers.  Full results from Winchester Speedway can be obtained by pointing your web browser to www.winchestervaspeedway.com.

"Everything is just clicking on the #7 car and my job is easy because of everyone that works so hard on it in the pits and at the shop," quoted Eckert following his second win of 2014.  "The racetrack was in good shape and I think about everyone was on the same tires.  I was just able to get out front there at the start and that was the key to the race.  Hopefully, I have some momentum on my side for when we unload the #24 this weekend with the Outlaws."

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series heats back up for the first time in over a month this upcoming weekend (March 28-29) in the states of Texas and Arkansas.  On Friday night, the doubleheader weekend will kick off at Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore, Texas with a $10,000 to win battle.  Another $10,000 top prize will be on the line on Saturday evening in the weekend finale at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Rick comes into the pair of special events fourth in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings.  Additional information on the double-dip can be accessed by clicking on www.woolms.com.
