The ASi Racewear Crown Jewel Cup-Presented by www.DirtonDirt.com is a nine race mini-series within the series schedule that offered racers that maintain perfect attendance a chance to win a $10,000 bonus at the series year-end awards banquet. The driver that earns the most points at the nine "Crown Jewel Cup" races will be awarded this cash bonus.
Jimmy Owens of Newport, TN will clinch the title as the ASi Crown Jewel Cup winner in this point category by virtue of starting the main event on Saturday night. Owens has won two of the crown jewel cup events in 2014 and leads Steve Francis by 180 points in the chase for the $10,000 bonus. "It's awesome to know that we have crown jewel cup bonus locked up. On Friday, October 18th the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will take to the track for Hot-Laps, RED BUCK Time Trials and Heat Races. Then on Saturday, October 19th the schedule will include the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series B-Mains, the $3,000 to win Modified Feature, the $50,000 to win/$2,000 to start DTWC 100-lap feature event and the $3,000 to win Jim Dunn Memorial Non-Qualifiers race.
