Jay Dickens Customers Register Late Season Accolades

Aberdeen, MS (09/17/13) -  As the 2013 campaign continues to wind down Jay Dickens Racing Engines (JDRE) clients are registering wins, track championships, and series championships.

Jeep Van Wormer piloted his #55 Rocket/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model to his third win of the year with a $5,000 win in preliminary action at the 43rd Annual World 100 at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday, September 5th.  Fellow JDRE customer, Bub McCool finished second in the feature.

Alabama's Jason Brock claimed the Super Late Model Track Championship at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) with his #4 Victory Circle by Moyer/JDRE powered entry.

Hunter Rasdon from Jonesboro, Arkansas has screamed back onto the Open Wheel Modified scene and has claimed a pair of big wins in his #r5 Rasdon Motorsports/Bandit/Jay Dickens Racing Engine entry over the past few weeks.  On August 23rd he registered a $2,000 win at Plumerville Speedway (Plumerville, Arkansas) before racing to a $5,000 win on August 30th during Modified Madness at Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, TN).

Brian Rickman raced to the Weekly Racing Series Event win at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on August 24th and then won again at the facility on September 7th in Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series action in his #90 Mastersbilt/JDRE Super Late Model.

Kentucky's Derrick Fisher has been on fire in his JDRE-powered Mastersbilt Super Late Model with a $4,500 win at 191 Speedway (Campton, Kentucky) on August 30th as well as an August 23rd triumph at the facility.

Upton Motorsports teammates, Kyle Beard and Ashley Newman, are having a strong finish to the 2013 season.  On Saturday, September 7th Kyle Beard raced his #86 Greg's Sawmill/Bob Pierce Race Car/Jay Dickens Racing Engine to the $2,500 win with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Super Late Models and with the victory claimed the series championship as well.  Newman also clinched the Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year title with the series as well in his #73 45 Race Shop/Bob Pierce/JDRE entry.

Greensburg, Kentucky's Brian Barber continued his great season in American Modified Series competition with a victory in his JDRE-powered, Bandit Chassis at 201 Speedway (Cadiz, Ohio) on August 24th.

Eight-time track champion and current point's leader, Jeff Rine continued his winning ways at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) on Saturday night with a win in his #2 Mastersbilt by Huey to push his 2013 win tally to seven in his Jay Dickens powered Super Late Model.

Neil Baggett powered the #K3 Thompson Motorsports/Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Super Late Model to the September 7th victory at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) in Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series action.

Cody Mahoney broke through with a win in his #4 Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model at Twin Cities Raceway Park (North Vernon, Indiana) on September 14th.

Ray Cook from Brasstown, North Carolina continued his great season behind the wheel of his #53 Mastersbilt/JDRE-powered entry by sweeping the action at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) and Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) on August 31st-September 1st before winning again at Dixie Speedway on September 14th to push his 2013 win tally to 10 wins.

Chase Junghans claimed his first Super Late Model win of the year with a National Championship Racing Association triumph at  Belleville High Banks (Belleville, Kansas) on September 1st in his #18 Shop Quik Racing/Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing engine entry.

Tony Toste of Pismo Beach, California represented Jay Dickens on the west coast with a win on September 1st in West Coast Late Model Shootout action at Santa Maria Speedway (Santa Maria, California).  Toste also leads the series points.

Chad Stapleton raced to his eighth win of the year with a triumph at Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) in his #32 Rightway Construction/Barry Wright/JDRE entry.
