Jay Dickens Customers Claim Crown Jewels and More

Aberdeen, MS (08/20/13) -  With the season approaching its late stages Jay Dickens Racing Engines (JDRE) customers are turning up the heat with wins in crown jewels, national events, regional events, and all points in between.

Don O'Neal from Martinsville, Indiana became only the second driver to win back-to-back, Sunoco North/South 100 titles by claiming the $50,000 prize in the 31st running of the event on August 10th  at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky), which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).  The victory was his second of the year in his Jay Dickens powered #71 Optima Batteries Mastersbilt Super Late Model.

Jeep Van Wormer from Pinconning, Michigan has only entered a handful of events in 2013, but he has made the most of his outings with two wins including a $10,000 triumph with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Models on August 16th at Winston Speedway (Rothbury, Michigan) in his #55 Rocket Super Late Model with Jay Dickens power.

Mt. Vernon, Iowa driver, Chad Simpson, continued his hot hand in Corn Belt Clash Super Late Model action by winning a pair of events over the August 9th-10th weekend at Fayette County Speedway (West Union, Iowa) and Jackson County Speedway (Maquoketa, Iowa) in his #25 Liebe Trucking/Mastersbilt by Huey/JDRE Super Late Model to push his 2013 win tally to six.  He also claimed the 2013 Corn Belt Clash Championship for an unprecedented fourth tour championship.

Ray Moore from Haughton, Louisiana raced to his fifth win of the 2013 season on August 10th at Leesville 171 Speedway (Leesville, Louisiana) in his #93 MB Customs/JDRE entry Super Late Model.

Alabama's Jason Brock added another win to his 2013 total in his #4 Victory Circle by Moyer/JDRE Super Late on August 17th at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi), while Brian Rickman of Columbus, Mississippi scored a $2,500 win in the Magnolia State on August 10th at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS).

Ray Cook dominated the Southern All Star Super Late Model event at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Georgia) for a $4,000 win in his #53 Mastersbilt/JDRE-powered entry on August 10th for his 7th win of 2013.

Kent Robinson parked his #7r JB's Salvage/Rocket by Club 29/Jay Dickens Super Late Model in victory lane at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Tuesday, July 23rd after conquering a $2,000 win in an event that was held as part of the NASCAR Camping World event at the 1/2 mile oval.

Jason Jaggers was victorious on August 16th in the $5,000-to-win, 7th Annual Ike Moler Memorial at Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) in his #32 Bob Pierce Race Car with Jay Dickens Power, while Jeff Rine continued his winning ways with a victory at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) on August 17th.
