Jay Dickens Racing Engines Customers Overcome Spring Showers

Aberdeen, MS (04/11/13) – The past month has seen more of the same, ,weather wise across the nation, as rain and even snow have been claiming wins on a consistent basis.  However, some Jay Dickens Racing Engines (JDRE) customers have been able to dodge the nasty weather to claim feature wins.

John Blankenship from Williamson, West Virginia piloted his #23 Coal America's Energy/Rocket/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model to a $10,000 win at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on March 16th.  The event was the second round of the debut weekend for Ray Cook's Southern Nationals, which opened the night prior at the 4/10 mile oval, where Blankenship finished third.

Greg Fore from Greenville, Mississippi survived late-race fireworks to claim the feature victory in the season opener at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on April 6th in his #77 Fore Motorsports/Mastersbilt/JDRE-powered Super Late Model.

Hopefully spring will cut racers some slack as Jay Dickens Racing Engines customers will be looking to burn up ovals from coast to coast.
