FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Jay Dickens Customers Start 2014 in Strong Fashion Aberdeen, MS (03/06/14) - While a majority of the Jay Dickens Racing Engines (JDRE) clients are still eagerly anticipating hitting the track for the first time in 2014, a few others have already been busy and have already registered proud accolades. Williamson, West Virginia’s John Blankenship used a Jay Dickens power plant to blaze to a new track record at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) on February 11th in his #23 Coal/Rocket Super Late Model. Blankenship circled the 1/3 mile oval with a time of 13.854 seconds to best the field of 47 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competitors. Neil Baggett from Shannon, Mississippi opened racing in the state of Mississippi on Saturday, March 1st by topping a solid field of 29 entries to win the annual Frost Buster at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in his #21 Triple A Diesel/Barry Wright/JDRE-powered entry. He was followed across the finish line by fellow Jay Dickens client, David Breazeale, who was debuting a brand-new Mastersbilt for Randy Thompson Motorsports.
