PRESS RELEASE:

Mark your calendar for May 10, 2008, when the Super Late Models will invade the high banks of Deep South Speedway for a $2,000.00 to win show. These 750+ horsepower race cars will travel the 4/10ths mile speedway in 15 +seconds in race mode, turning the high banks at speeds of over 120 miles per hour!

“We used to race these cars around here and there are at least 35 of these Super Late Models still around here with no track to run on,” explained Buddy Crenshaw, a long-time promoter, racer and engine builder from Brewton. ‘I believe that if Deep South will start racing these cars, we can get most of them back and the fans will love to see them race again,” he added.  New track owner Bill Webb said that if he could see around 15 cars, he would consider running them more often.

Don’t miss the Super Late Models on May 10th at Deep South Speedway, 4 miles north of Exit 44 on I-10, where the dirt meets the sand.
