Columbus Speedway Set for $2,500-To-Win, MSCCS Super Late Models this Saturday

Columbus, Mississippi (05/21/13) - Columbus Speedway is eagerly anticipating an invasion by the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Models this Saturday, May 25th as the tour rolls into town for a $2,500-to-win program at the Baddest Bullring in the South.

The 1/3 mile oval is ready to roar back to life this Saturday night with not only the MSCCS Super Late Models burning up the oval, but also the Limited Late Models/Crate Late Models, the Street Stocks, and the Mini Stocks in action.

Anticipation for this event comes on the heels of Mike Boland blazing to a new track record two weeks ago with a 13.22 second lap around the 1/3 mile oval.

A strong list of Super Late Model competitors are expected for the program including Chris Wall, David Breazeale, Rick Rickman, Brian Rickman, Chad Thrash, Ross Camponovo, Henry Cooper, Clay Fisher, Mike Boland, Eric Cooley, Neil Baggett, Leon Henderson, Mark Dodson, Tony Shelton, Randy Boyd Thompson, and many more!

Adult grandstand admission is $15 for adults with seniors, active military and ages 11-18 $10, while kids (10 & under) are free as always.  Pit admission is $30 for adults with ages 7-18 years old $20 and ages 6 & under free.

The pit gate opens at 3pm with the driver's meeting slated for 6pm and racing action at 7pm.  Grandstand gates open at 5pm.
