Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Series 2012 Schedule

The 2011 season was one of the best ever for the Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Series and we are making some exciting new changes to make the 2012 season even better. Due to the ammount of races that we have scheduled spread out across 10 states we will devide the series in half in 2012. All of the races North of Colorado will be part of the Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Northern Series. All of the races South of Colorado will be part of the Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Southern Series. With the cost of fuel we think that this will help cut down on the cost to the race teams and will hopefully get more care to run for points in the series that is closer to home. We are working on putting together a 12 to 15 race schedule for each series with a handfull of races being run together.

In 2012 the Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Series will race in New Mexico, Wyoming, South Dakota, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Utah, Nevada, Nebraska and maybe Colorado & Arizona.

We will be opening up the 2012 season earlier then ever on Wednesday, March 7th. We will be heading to Las Vegas, NV and taking on the West Coast Late Model Shootout at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This will be a points race for the CLMA DIRTcar Northern & Southern Series. It will pay atleast $2000 to win and $400 to start. This will be the same weekend that Nascar will be in town with all three of there top divisions, plus the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars will be there on March 8th. This could be a great little racing vacation to start off the season!!

The last weekend of April will be the biggest weekend of racing in series history. The CLMA DIRTcar Northern & Southern Series will be taking on the MARS DIRTcar Series for three days. On Friday, April 27th we will have the "Preview to the Shooutout" at the Great American Dirt Track in Jetmore, KS. This race will pay $1,500 to win and $225 to start. We will return to Jetmore on Saturday, April 28th for the highest paying race in series history. The 3rd Annual Sunflower State Shootout will pay $12,000 to win and $1,200 to start. 28 cars will start the feature both nights at Jetmore. Then on Sunday, April 29th we will head 100 miles south west to Beaver County Raceway in Beaver, OK. This race will pay $3,000 to win and $400 to start.

The CLMA DIRTcar Southern Series will be heading back to Aztec Speedway in Aztec, NM again in 2012 for two great weekends of racing. The first weekend will be Friday, June 8th and Saturday, June 9th. Then we will return to Aztec on Labor Day weekend and race on Saturday, September 1st and Sunday, September 2nd. The 1st nigth of both weekend will pay $1500 to win and $225 to start. The 2nd night of both weekend will pay $2500 to win and $300 to start. The CLMA DIRTcar Southern Series will also be heading back to El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, TX and Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Crudes, NM on August 17th & 18th. Both races will pay $1,200 to win and $225 to start. We are working on adding a few more races to the CLMA DIRTcar Southern Series at this time.

The CLMA DIRTcar Northern Series will be heading back to a couple of tracks that we haven't raced at in a few years. For the first time since 2009 the CLMA DIRTcar Northern Series will be racing at Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Springs, WY. This will be a two day show on June 29th & 30th. The CLMA DIRTcar Northern Series will also be going back to Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, UT for the first time since 2006. This will also be a two day show on September 21st & 22nd. The Northern Series will also be heading back to Casper Speedway in Casper, WY on Friday, August 10th and Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, WY on Friday, June 1st. The Northern Series will also be heading back to Gillette Thunder Speedway in Gillette, WY but we have not finalized the dates at this time. We are still working on adding a few more races for the CLMA DIRTcar Northern Series. All of these races in the CLMA DIRTcar Northern Series will pay $1200 to win and $225 to start. The CLMA Northern Series will also be going to Mid-Nebraska Speedway in Doniphan, NB on July 14th to take on the NCRA Late Model Series.
