RAIN AND WET CONDITIONS POSTPONE CHEVY SUPER SERIES DEGA 100 UNTIL NOV. 14

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

EASTABOGA, AL – Rain and wet conditions have forced postponement of Saturday night’s 3rd Annual Dega 100 for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series at Talladega Short Track until Saturday night, November 14. Tonight’s open practice session at Talladega Short Track has also been cancelled.

Earlier this week, racers Ted Lackey and “Dr. Dirt” Johnny Stokes of Magnolia Motor Speedway performed a thorough reworking of the clay racing surface at Talladega Short Track, but heavy rain showers later in the week didn’t not give them a chance to correctly finish the project to provide a more competitive track.

A field of over 30 drivers is expected to return to Talladega Short Track on November 14 for the rescheduled $6,000-to-win 3rd Annual Dega 100, and there are 16 Hoosier Racing Tires Road To Dega drivers that are eligible for a $4,000 bonus if one of them can win the Dega 100 for a $10,000 payday.
