CHEVY SUPER SERIES ADDS 411 MOTOR SPEEDWAY TO 2014 SCHEDULE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

                CARTERSVILLE, GA – America’s first “Factory Backed and Factory Built” Super Late Model Series, the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series, has added an event at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN to its 2014 schedule with the $3,000-to-win $300-to-start Volunteer Chevrolet 50 on September 20, 2014.

                The 2013 Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series Volunteer Chevrolet 50 at 411 Motor Speedway was rained out, so the series will be making their first appearance at the high-banked 3/8-mile clay oval.  Race fans at 411 Motor Speedway can expect close competition and easy access to the top drivers in the Southeast.

The super late models in the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series are powered by the production-based economical all-aluminum Chevrolet LS engine that comes in the Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro, and the Chevrolet SS that are available at Chevrolet dealers world-wide.

                Race fans will have an opportunity to see the race cars, the economical production-based engine that power them, and meet the drivers that pilot these unique super late models in the Chevy Fan Zone before the start of the Volunteer Chevrolet 50.  The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series drivers will bring their super late models to fans in the grandstand area.

                The 2014 Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series season will begin on March 15 at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL with the $3,000-to-win Chevrolet of Boaz 50.  The 2014 season will also conclude at Talladega Short Track with the 2nd Annual $6,000-to-win Dega 100 on October 11.  Tim Busha of Boaz, AL is the defending champion of the Dega 100.

                Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series officials are currently finalizing the 2014 event schedule, and more dates and venues will be announced in the near future.  William Thomas of Phenix City, AL is the defending champion of the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series with four wins in the 2013 season.
