Little Rock, Arkansas (03/30/16) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil opens their 2016 season this weekend with a pair of $2,000-to-win events in Texas and Arkansas. It will mark the 10th year of operation for the Arkansas-based tour.

“There’s always a lot of excitement to get the season started, but it seems like this year that the anticipation is really through the roof,” commented CCSDS CEO, Chris Ellis. “Fans and racers alike are really pumped about this year, and I’ll admit that myself and the entire series’ staff are equally excited. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been in business for ten years already. Time sure does fly.”

Jack Sullivan picked up his first series title in 2015 and looks to be a contender again in 2016. The Greenbrier, Arkansas racer will lead the CCSDS troops into battle in this weekend’s openers, while two-time series champ, Kyle Beard from Trumann, Arkansas will be gunning to dethrone him.

2011 champion, Brandon Smith and 2012 champion, Jon Mitchell are also expected to be competition this weekend.
