COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Season Finale Saturday, Sept. 28th at Riverside

Beebe, Arkansas (09/24/13) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models will put a cap on the 2013 season on Saturday evening, September 28th with a trip to the historic Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) for the 7th Annual COMP Cams Midsouth Dirt Track Championship.

Trumann, Arkansas competitor, Kyle Beard has already locked up his first series CCSDS championship heading into the series finale. While the top spot has been solidified in the standings the remainder of the positions are still in question as Ashley Newman, Chandler Petty, Clay Fisher, Tommy Surrett, Lynn Beach, Brandon Smith, Jon Kirby, Ross Camponovo, Joseph Long, Kody Mea, Kenneth Jackson and the rest of the cast of characters continue to dice things up.

Ashley Newman from Ripley, Tennessee has clinched the 2013 Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year title with Lynn Beach and Joseph Long sitting second and third, respectively, in the standings.

On Saturday, September 28th the 7th Annual COMP Cams Midsouth Dirt Track Championship will be held at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) with a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start event at the 1/4 mile oval. Joining the CCSDS competitors on the card will be 600cc Mini Sprints, Street Stocks, and Open Wheel Modifieds. Gates open at 5pm with the driver's meeting at 6pm, hot laps at 6:30pm, and racing action at 7:30pm. For more information on the event, please visit www.RiversideInternationalSpeedway.com .
