Mother Nature Wins Again with COMP Cams Super Dirt Series

Muskogee, Oklahoma (09/18/15) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil has again been defeated by pesky Mother Nature. Friday night’s scheduled, $2,500-to-win event at Outlaw Motor Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) has been canceled due to a forecast that calls for imminent rain tonight. The decision was made in an effort save teams and fans money and time.

“We hated to pull the plug early, but looking at the forecast, which calls for a 90% chance of rain starting this evening, this was definitely the right decision,” said CCSDS CEO, Chris Ellis. “We appreciate the effort of the staff at Outlaw Motor Speedway, and we’ll look forward to visiting them in 2016.”

The tour now turns its attention to the final race of the year, which will be held on Saturday, September 26th at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas). The 9th Annual Midsouth Dirt Track Championship will pay $3,000-to-win at the ¼ mile oval. IMCA Modifieds, Super Stocks, and 600cc Mini Sprints will also be a part of the program. Adult grandstand admission is $20 with kids (6-12 years-of-age) $2, when accompanied by an adult. Pit passes are $30. For more information on the event, please visit www.I-30Speedway.com .
