COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Set Postponed at Timberline; Diamond Park Still Racing

Beebe, Arkansas (07/26/13) – Rain has forced officials with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model tour to postpone the $2,000-to-win event that was scheduled for Friday, July 26th at Timberline Speedway (Corley, Texas) until Friday, August 9th. The event will be part of a doubleheader weekend with Crawford County Speedway (Van Buren, Arkansas), which will host a $2,000-to-win race on Saturday, August 10th.

Saturday, July 27th will see the tour making their first appearance of the season at Diamond Park Speedway (Nashville, Arkansas) as the competitors will be chasing a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start purse. The CCSDS was schedule to sanction a race at the clay oval in June, but rain forced the cancelation of the event. In 2012 the series visited the facility twice with Robert Baker and Jack Sullivan splitting wins. A full complement of local divisions will also be a part of the program including Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Novice. Gates open at 5pm with racing action at 8pm.
