COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Set for Greenville Speedway Holiday Weekend

Beebe, Arkansas (06/30/15) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil takes aim on Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) this weekend, July 3rd-4th, for a pair of $2,000-to-win events.

With nine events completed on the season there have been seven different winners on the tour. Jack Sullivan resides at the top of the series standings and will be chasing his third tour win of the season this weekend. Robert Baker, Kyle Beard, Clay Fisher, Shannon Scott, Chandler Petty, Tommy Surrett, Gavin Landers, B.J. Robinson, and David Payne complete the current top ten in the standings.

The Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year standings continues to be led by Gavin Landers with Hunter Rasdon and Casey Findley in pursuit.

Bub McCool swept the holiday weekend at the ¼ mile oval a year ago as well as the series’ first visit of 2015 to the facility back in May. The Vicksburg, Mississippi racer will be on hand to look for another pair of wins this Friday and Saturday.

Beau Gordon leads the current track standings followed by Duke Palasini, Doug Showah, Bubba Harrison, and Ryan Colby. The local contingent will look to keep the top money at home this weekend.

This Friday and Saturday, July 3rd-4th, a pair of $2,000-to-win/$300-to-start events will be held for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS). On Friday evening NeSmith Late Models and Street Stocks will be a part of the program. Saturday night’s program includes the $1,500-to-win, Buddy Roncali Memorial, which posts a $1,500 top prize for the Street Stock class. Also in action will be NeSmith Crate Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, and Pure Stocks.
